From the moment your sample arrives until we deliver the raw data, we’re here to help you every step of the way.

We routinely sequence:

  • PCR/amplicon samples (especially 16S for bacteria, archaea, and fungi)
  • Standard genomic DNA samples (metagenomic, cDNA (both bacterial and eukaryotic), whole genome, etc.)

Preparing your sample

Before we can sequence the DNA, you must prepare the sample using the correct protocol. It also needs to be packaged correctly to avoid tarnishing the sample during shipping.

Sending your sample

Ship us your prepared sample using 2-day air with an express carrier. We recommend scheduling your sequencing run with us ahead of time so we can add you to our work queue.

From the time we receive the sample, it typically takes engencore 10 working days to sequence a DNA sample.

Retrieving data output

Once your data is ready, we’ll notify you by email and send you a unique URL to a secure Web site to access the raw data.
